Objective: The Order & Delivery Application Test Plan will allow the Test Team and Development Team to find, document, and resolve problems. Strategy: The teams will utilize the testing techniques such as the Walkthroughs, Testing to Code (glass-box), and Testing to Specifications (black-box) for the Order & Delivery Application certifications. The Test Team will execute the Navigational, System, Integration, Module, and Script Level Test Procedures on the baseline application as shown in the Requirements to Test Procedures Traceability Matrix. Please click on the Test Procedure 1.1 Explorer for an example.
The Test Team will record the Test Procedures findings and submit the Problem Reports (PRs)to the Development Team for resolutions. Both teams will track the evolution of the PRs on the configuration-controlled documents. Please click on this "PR" for an example Problem Report. The Development Team will resolve the PRs and submit the solutions to the Test Team for approvals. The solutions will be certified and embedded into the baseline documents for the subsequent product releases. Observation: How many problems were found?
How many problems were resolved?
How many problems are pending for resolutions?
How many problems are impossible to duplicate for resolutions?
How many problems are cancelled, because there were not real problems?
Conclusion: Testing summary with recommendations to prevent problems in delivering the zero defect products by following the Total Quality Management (TQM) techniques, standards, and procedures. Navigator:
