Nazia Khan, in the center, is reciting the Holy Qur'an with her class at the Muslim
Community Center (MCC) on October 29th, 2001. The MCC is located at the 15200 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver
Spring, Maryland 20905. It is the largest community center in Maryland serving
the needs of the Muslim Community. The center provides a wide range of services and
conducts several educational and community programs both during the weekdays and the
weekend. The center operates a full time school and the Islamic Academy of MCC for
children.
